Dimp is an excellent video player that is also innovative. It offers big features when directly manipulating the video you`re watching. In other words, you can move elements of the video from the program, just by dragging and dropping

This option lets the user move any AVI format video frame by frame and make captures of the images.

Another function is to add or cut fragments of video, something you do simply by clicking on the image, specifically on the part to retouch.

This type of retouching doesn`t affect the original video, but keeps it the same. But you must be patient, because Dimp requires time to process. It only works with AVI, but that`s OK because you can just use a converter.

Dimp is a powerful and completely free program that`s worth a try.
